The Pigs are Flying
There has been a lot going on this year with the music industry, Bittorrent, piracy and anti-piracy. We have seen little girls and single mothers and dead grandparents sued for exorbitant fees for sharing music online. Record labels are suing more people than you could imagine, and a few are fighting back. Here is a very lengthy (but eloquent) “rant” about the death of the major record labels. This guy put a lot of time and thought into it, and shows how the record labels could have easily avoided this death march and profited from the digital revolution, instead of withering away because of it. The Internet is the future, and if you don’t want to be part of it then you will be history.
